We will be holding a roundtable event to discuss how Angel Place and the market currently function. Local stakeholders, market holders and shops surrounding the square have all been invited.

URBED's Masterplan for Old Trafford Launched

Here is an article on the launch of URBED's masterplan for Old Trafford.

"A multi-million pound regeneration project has been launched in the Old Trafford area of Manchester, close to the iconic home stadium of Manchester United.

The Old Trafford Masterplan will take 10 years to complete and will provide a mix of social and affordable housing, community regeneration and environmental improvements.

Indoor Growing System

As part of our ongoing work with Manchester International Festival we have been asked to develop an indoor growing module that captures the learning from Alpha Farm. The module forms part of a Big Lottery Application to the Communities Living Sustainably. We find out in September if our application has been successful.

Bow - First meeting of series nine of TEN Group

The first meeting of the ninth series took place 10  August 2012 and explored ways of upgrading Council housing estates now that large scale redevelopment schemes are increasingly unlikely to be viable, and focussed on the feasibility of refurbishing existing tower blocks. We were greatly helped by representatives of Swan Housing Association, who have transformed the old Crossways estate in Bow from what was classed as the second worst estate in the country for crime to a really attractive place to live.
