The SUNN network may have come to its end with the launch of its findings in February this year but the conclusions and lessons learnt continue to be shared around the U.K.

Members from the SUNN network came to York on 20 June 2012 to see the impressive progress made at Derwenthorpe. The new village is designed to use much less energy, thanks to a ‘heat engine’, and the homes are selling for a premium.

Well, the rain held off – just about – and we had a great day talking to people at Wrose Carnival. We would like to thank everyone who came to speak with us and made comments about the regeneration plans for the area.

Here is our latest sketch of what the 2Up 2Down project hopes to create using two vacent houses and an empty bakery.

URBED has recently put together a planning application for Trafford Eco House. This has gone to Trafford Council's planning department and we are waiting for a decision. Below is an image from the final Design and Access Statement, please click on it to enlarge. You can also download the full Design Report to the left.

We will be attending some local events around Bradford to hear people's opinions on the regeneration plans for the area. Please come along!
