Understanding fuel poverty

Friday 8th July, 2016

In 2014 Carbon Co-op and URBED were awarded a small research grant from the Chesshire Lehmann Fund to evaluate the impact of our Community Green Deal project, looking at potential implications for the fuel poverty agenda.

After administering just over £107,000 in grants, the Fund has now closed. It was established in 2009 in memory of Professor John Chesshire and Dr Peter Lehmann; both were Fabian socialists committed to community and environmental energy causes. The recently published report, titled 'Understanding Fuel Poverty', summarises findings from each of the grants awarded, including a summary of the report we authored with Carbon Co-op. It's available to download from the link on the right.
