Here we are, at the beginning of a brand new year.

For our Christmas greetings, we indulged in a brief review of our work and collaborations In 2016, appreciating the many projects we had the pleasure of working on as well as our clients and collaborators. A small selection as shown in the image below. 

We stretched out our 40th birthday celebrations for a little longer with a step back in time to URBED’s first home at the Kirkaldy Testing Museum on Southwark Street in London where we were very happy to catch up with friends. In May we ran another successful 4x4 Manchester series exploring themes of money, love, war & peace and freedom, and in July we played our part in the creation of a temporary urban allotment in Manchester city centre. In 2016 we also welcomed two new members in Lorenza Casini and Jie Lu and were happy to host Lucy Sykes, Benjamin Palle and Erwan Dire.

We look forward to another productive and varied year in 2017!
