Feature in the Observer on the Malings, Ouseburn
Friday 6th November, 2015
We're currently working on the stage 3 footprint® assessment for the Malings in the Ouseburn Valley. The first phase of housing, designed by Ash Sakula architects, was completed earlier this year. We've followed this project since inception, so it's interesting to see what others think of it. Observer/Guardian writer Rowan Moore published a piece last week (see the link on the right), describing the development of 'modest urban dwellings' as a 'masterclass in quiet invention, style and sustainable living.'
After finalising our latest assessment, we look forward to completing some post-occupancy evaluation of the scheme next year.
