Proposals for Trent Basin

Our proposals have gone through a lengthy design review process to make sure our development on Trent Basin is of the highest quality.

This process follows the Footprint guide, and this makes sure all aspects of the scheme promote a sustainable development – from making sure there are schools and fresh food shops close by  to constructing energy efficient houses  and building layouts which promote walking and cycling.

Manchester; First meeting of series ten of TEN

The first meeting of the tenth series focussed on Greater Manchester. Manchester has undergone a renaissance over the last two decades, and the centre now looks like a Continental city with modern trams, some great architecture, and an extensive high quality public realm. The results are credited to the proactive role of the City Council under the long-standing partnership of the Chief Executive Sir Howard Bernstein and the leader Sir Richard Leese.

Ouseburn Consultation | Workshop | 9th September 2013 | Byker Community Hall

This will be the third consultation event for the Lower Ouseburn Valley Exchange and it will be in the form of a workshop. We will be updating you on the changes we have made to the proposals after the first two consultation events. We will then be asking you to assess each scheme against the Building for Life Criteria. This is a list of 12 questions which are scored on a traffic light system. The more greens a development gets the better the development will be. A red light will give a warning that an aspect of the development needs to be reconsidered.
