Proposals for Trent Basin
Our proposals have gone through a lengthy design review process to make sure our development on Trent Basin is of the highest quality.
This process follows the Footprint guide, and this makes sure all aspects of the scheme promote a sustainable development – from making sure there are schools and fresh food shops close by to constructing energy efficient houses and building layouts which promote walking and cycling.
Our proposals:
The site which sits in-between three Industrial Estates: Meadow Lane, Daleside Road and Trent South will be redeveloped into a sustainable residential neighbourhood. The basin will also be regenerated to provide open public space with views onto the Trent. The development will include:
- New access routes into the site
- 150 new homes which comply with the Building for Life 12 standards
- New public space around the basin with views to the river
- Energy efficient housing – to achieve EPC rating A
- A mix of townhouses, water-edge houses and mews
