URBED present at GreenBuild
Wednesday 17th April, 2013
Charlie Baker will be presenting the Carbon Coop's latest work on the Green Deal Go Early project with Anne Parkes (AGMA Green Deal Programme).
Here is some more information about GreenBuild:
Greenbuild Expo takes place in Manchester on 8th and 9th May. Completely free to attend, the event offers a packed schedule of debates, workshops and seminars, as well as exhibitors showcasing the latest green products and solutions. The 2013 event will also, for the first time, be home to an event dedicated to sustainable transport, CO2t, and will see the return of Ignition, the UK’s only woodfuel event.
Following its success at the 2012 event, the Green Deal debate area will be at the heart of the show, giving visitors the chance to hear from key organisations on what Green Deal means for the built environment and how we can all make the most of this flagship green policy. The debate area will also give Green Deal providers a platform to explain how the low-carbon retrofit model works, and how everyone from installers to local authorities can get involved. In addition, the themed seminar rooms will offer sessions on everything from green materials and sustainable methods of construction, to low-carbon design and energy-saving refurbishment.
Greenbuild Expo takes place on 8th and 9th May at Manchester Central. The 2013 event is sponsored by Plumb Center, University of Salford and UKGBC. To register visit www.greenbuildexpo.co.uk and follow @greenbuildexpo on Twitter for show updates
