We have been working with the inspirational Hulme Community Garden Centre to develop proposals to expand their existing facilities onto a vacant a adjoining car park.

The designs were developed in close colaboration with the staff and volunteers of the garden centre through a series of workshop sessions. For info on the application and the process we went through please see the Design and Access Statement below. The project successfully received planning and work has already started to secure the site and transform the car park,

Here are a few images from the hybrid planning application that we submitted on behalf of Hulme Community Garden Centre. We have just found out that the application has been successful, which is great news. The application included change of use of the existing site, full planning permission for a hot and a cold poly tunnel, a covered store and a secure lock up unit. Outline permission was sort for a new shop, a new workshop and a cob office.

Plans are already underway to install a perimeter fence to secure the site and the Garden Centre are actively looking to source materials for the extension.

We are in the process of submitting a hybrid planning application for the proposed extention of the garden centre. As part of the design process we have developed designs for the extension in colaboration with volunteers and users of the garden centre.
