As Bradford Centre Regeneration wanted to celebrate the tenth anniversary of National Architecture Week, URBED curated a series of events, debates and exhibitions to showcase its rich architectural heritage and exciting regeneration plans. Between the 16th and 25th June 2006 Bradford hosted lectures from David Rudlin (URBED), Martin Stockley (Martin Stockley Associates), Neil Swanson (Landscape Projects), Ian Simpson (Ian Simpson Architects), Will Alsop (Alsop Architects) and many more.
Listers Mill became the first venue outside London to host the I Shot Norman Foster photography exhibition. The Priestley Theatre hosted a 4x4 Making Places Special, the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television hosted a film festival and the annual BDDA architectural awards dinner.
URBED are already looking toward Architecture Week 2007 to build upon and enhance the regions programme of built environment activity.
