A short walking tour about Manchester's LGBT Centre

Emily will be running a short walking tour which tells the story of how Manchester became the first place to build an entirely publicly funded, purpose designed centre for the gay community, just as Thatcher’s government were enacting Section 28.

Friday 27th Nov 2pm - 3.30pm, meet at Manchester Town Hall. Please note it will finish at the Joyce Layland LGBT centre, Sidney Street just off Oxford Road. FOr the route and more detail please see the blog we were born in the 80s.
