4x4 Special: The Housing Crisis

70 Oxford Street (Formerly Cornerhouse)

4x4 Manchester is a free event which invites 4 speakers to talk for 15 minutes each on a given topic.We will be holding the events at the iconic 70 Oxford Street (formely the Cornerhouse) and the session will begin with refreshments followed by 4 presentations and a what is set to be a lively audience debate. The session will be chaired by David Rudlin of URBED and we are delighted to welcome our speakers:  

Danny Dorling- British social geographer and author of "All that is Solid: How the Great Housing Disaster Defines Our Times and What We Can Do About It" amongst others.

Jenny Lynn - Labour Councillor for Calderdale Council

Philip Brown - Director of the Sustainable Housing and Urban Studies Unit at the University of Salford

Lynsey Hanley - Author of Estates: an Intimate History
