Jamie Anderson

Jamie is currently undertaking a PHD at Cambridge University. His PhD seeks to investigate the influence of outdoor neighbourhood spaces on positive mental health. 

 

Jamie studied Geography as an undergraduate and Town Planning as a post-graduate in Manchester. Most recently he also completed a Masters in urban design at Oxford Brookes winning an award for overall outstanding contribution- presented by University Chancellor John Snow. His professional experience to date ranges from Feasibility Studies and Baselines Assessments to detailed Design Briefs and Masterplaning.

Most recently Jamie has been working on a Baseline and options study in Fleetwood, Vision/ framework document in Irvine Bay Scotland, design advice for Bury MBC, a Strategic Development Framework for East Central Rochdale, winning a development competition for Radcliffe SUN. He is largely responsible for planning, urban design and masterplanning input.

Jamie also has significant experience of public consultation and workshop facilitation, most recently working with communities in Scotland's Irvine Bay area.
