Grace Manning-Marsh

Grace has now moved on to the bright lights of the London to work for environmental planning consultancy Temple.

Grace joined URBED after graduating from Manchester University with an undergraduate masters in Town and County Planning.  She has worked on a variety of masterplanning projects from inception through to completion, working on baseline studies, community and key stakeholder business consultations, masterplan development and refinement. Grace has worked in a variety of under privileged neighbourhoods often consulting with ‘hard to reach groups’, Through the development of innovative consultation techniques and venues at URBED she has been able to capture the views of a wide variety of people on the projects she has worked on. Grace has also run a series of Urban Design Masterclasses for Urban Design London and TFL, which were aimed at Local authority planners and urban designers to enhance their urban design skills and knowledge. She has also more recently completed a PTTLS (preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector) course which has further developed her skills in training and working with people of all ages.

Grace also takes a keen interest in organising any events at URBED, be they work related or social.
