Environmental cost of flood recovery

In summer 2017 we were awarded a research contract led by Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS) as part of their Rebuilding Together project, funded by the Big Lottery. The research evaluated the environmental cost of the current industry response to refurbishment after flooding.

Titled 'location, location location - funding investment in local infrastructure', Nick looks at how planning for housing and infrastructure can be linked together to get better value from public investment, by using multi-criteria analysis to assess strategic options and then by sharing the uplift in land values.
